Heatons has achieved planning permission for redevelopment of a rural pet crematorium near Newquay, Cornwall. The project involved the demolition and redevelopment of the pet crematorium, including the installation of a new flue. Planning permission enables the Applicant to redevelop the site into a modern facility which will better meet the needs of its customers.
In developing the application, it became apparent that the main building at the site had not been formally approved for use as part of the pet cremation business. The application, therefore, also successfully argued that the use of the building for business purposes should be permanently retained.
