Heatons have secured approval on behalf of Breedon Southern Ltd for the First Periodic Review of the conditions by which West Deeping Quarry, Lincolnshire operates. In addition, planning permission was also granted for a modest extension to prevent sterilisation of reserve and secure an additional 18 months of sand and gravel extraction. As with many of our projects, these two applications required an Environmental Impact Assessment, and a Planning and Environmental Statement was submitted which jointly assessed the potential impacts of the two submissions. Both were unanimously approved by Lincolnshire’s Planning and Regulation Committee.
