Heatons are pleased to have secured planning permission, on behalf of Harworth Estates for the redevelopment of the former North Selby Mine site to a leisure development comprising of a range of touring caravan, static caravans and lodges.
As the site lies within York’s Green Belt, very special circumstances were demonstrated in terms of the re-use of previously developed land, tourism and investment in the local economy and biodiversity benefits, which weighed heavily in favour of the proposal.
