Turning Landfill into Light: Heatons Success in Solar Farm Planning Approval

Heatons assisted Biffa with the preparation and submission of a planning application for a solar farm on their former landfill site in Risley, Warrington. We are pleased that the application has recently been approved.

The solar farm scheme has been designed to fit in with the established grassland restoration and paths across the former landfill site, whilst making best use of the south facing slopes and minimising the visibility of the solar arrays from outside the site.
