Tamsyn is a Chartered Mineral Surveyor and joined Heatons in 2025.

Tamsyn has extensive experience working with both public and private sector clients on a wide range of mineral and waste planning matters. Her work includes the preparation and submission of planning applications, often involving Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), and the management of consultant teams to ensure projects are delivered effectively.

She is also skilled in providing professional planning advice, undertaking mineral safeguarding assessments, and preparing Certificates of Appropriate Alternative Development (CAADs). This broad expertise allows her to support clients through complex planning processes while ensuring regulatory compliance and strategic outcomes.

Prior to joining Heatons, Tamsyn worked for both Carter Jonas and David Jarvis Associates.
